Today, for brief break to my US trip posts I thought I’d share a new cafe find right here at home in Sydney. To be perfectly honest, my main motivation for visiting Fleetwood Macchiato was its name. Seriously if their name doesn’t make you smile a little I’m not sure if we can be friends. It might be early days yet, but Fleetwood Macchiato is definitely a contender for creating the prettiest breakfast of the year with their herb and black olive rolled poached eggs. It arrives under a disc of crispbread which conceals a huge edible garden of a breakfast.
It’s exciting to see a cafe that’s bringing some new and creative offerings to my favourite meal of the day. 2013 is gearing up to be a very very delicious year.
